Turnover includes EUR 2.7 million attributable to acquisitions. Thus organic growth accounts for 21% in a difficult economic environment. Syntec Informatique (a French trade association for companies offering software and computing services) predicts a general decrease in software and computing service turnover of between 2% and 5% during 2002.
Despite a difficult economic situation worldwide, Business & Decision Group has managed to achieve strong sales performance for each of its activities, notably in Business Intelligence and international sales.
Performance in line with targets
"The group reorganisation and cost reduction programme (representing EUR 2 million for the year) launched last quarter will enable us to achieve our target of strong growth in turnover and a notable improvement in the net earnings for the year ending 30th June 2003", said Patrick Bensabat, Business & Decision's Chairman and CEO.
Com6's software activities sold to Vocalcom
In accordance with the company's cost reduction policy and focus on its core activities, Business & Decision announced today the transfer of Com6's call center software activities to Vocalcom, a leading French software vendor in Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) in PC environments (according to IDC, 2001), with a customer base in excess of 600. This transfer, which is effective from 1st November, 2002, includes Com6's CTI software Mari@ge, the Mari@ge trade-mark, and Com6's customer portfolio equipped with Mari@ge. Com6's employees involved in the call center software activities have joined Vocalcom's staff.
Com6, which remains a member of the Business & Decision group, retains its experts and CRM software development tools, linked to its service activities. At the same time, Business & Decision and Vocalcom established a partnership for providing joint service offerings to clients.
"This operation, in line with the Group's action plan initiated on Q1, demonstrates the company's capability to eliminate loss centres and return to historic profitability levels", concluded Patrick Bensabat.
