Business & Decision Announce Changes of Key Accounting Dates

St Albans, December 17, 2004,

At an annual general meeting on 16th December 2004, the shareholders of Business & Decision, the European consulting and data engineering company specialising in Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management and Ebusiness, approved unanimously the change of accounting dates to coincide with the calendar year.
From 2005, the accounting periods for Business & Decision will begin on 1st January and finish on 31st December. The current financial year which started on the 1st of July 2004 will now finish on the 31st of December 2004. The turnover for this 6-month period will be announced after the close of the markets on Monday 31st of January 2005. The full results for that period will be available on Thursday 31st March 2005.

Double Digit Growth for the Current Financial YearIn the first quarter of the current financial year, Business & Decision saw a turnover of €15.3M, an increase of 19.4% (of which 17% was organic). This is significantly better than the average growth of the software and services market, which is estimated at 5% for the second half of 2004 by the Syntec Informatique (the French association of software and computing services companies).

Business & Decision are experiencing increased sales opportunities and are set to maintain their double-digit growth targets, whilst increasing profitability levels.
