Business & Decision acquires IT professional services company Domino Systems
Business & Decision, the European consulting and data engineering company specialising in Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and e-Business, today announced the acquisition of Domino Systems, the UK IT professional services company that provides innovative web based solutions. The acquisition marks an increase in UK staff of 50%.
Founded in 1995, Domino Systems (www.domino.com) are renowned for their technical excellence as well as their inspired creative design and clear strategic thinking. The company has undertaken projects in design, development and deployment of web-based solutions to provide true business benefits. Long standing clients are from a variety of industry sectors and include BMW Williams F1, BP, Corus Hotels, Epson, Johnson & Johnson, Mitsubishi, Prudential and Toshiba. Domino Systems is a certified Microsoft Gold Partner.

Domino Systems is a privately held company based in Oxfordshire with a staff of 30 in the UK. For fiscal year 2004 (ended 31st December), Domino Systems reported revenue of £1.65million with a gross profit of 52%. The company is operating at a break-even level. The combined entity will strengthen Business & Decision's presence in the UK, with offices in St Albans, Chester, Edinburgh, Windsor and now Oxford.Huckle continues "This is a very exciting time for Business & Decision. We are already a leader in integrating business intelligence technologies in France and we have an ambition to become the leader in the UK, as well as developing our expertise in CRM and e-Business. This acquisition is an important step in realising our goals."

Now well established in the UK with a team of 70 consultants working from offices in St Albans, Chester, Edinburgh and Windsor, Business & Decision Limited accounted for approximately 10% of Group turnover during 2004. With the acquisition of Domino Systems, the Business & Decision Group sees its position strengthened in the UK to a team of approximately 100 consultants and the creation of a new e-Business division.
The Business & Decision Group are one of the major independent e-Business specialist integrators with 150 dedicated consultants in France. During 2004, E-Business activities of the Group represented approximately 20% of consolidated turnover.
